Only 6% of women-owned businesses generate more than $100,000 a year.
That's a staggeringly small number of businesses. What's more, the average women-run business only makes $47,000 per year. That's not a lot of money when you factor in the cost of rent/mortgage, childcare, food, and healthcare... let alone travel or anything else "extra."
That's why Emily Eley Coaching is especially excited to announce an epic milestone we reached in the fall of 2021, only 3 years into business. We've hit our first ever $100k year (gross revenue). And we want to celebrate by bringing some damn transparency to the conversation about money.
We believe one of the main reasons so few women-owned businesses have reached the $100k mark is that most folks are keeping their financial doors closed. There's a whole lot of gatekeeping happening out there around money, resources, capital, and growth. And we're done with that.
Listen to folks ask any and all questions about money, budgeting, business growth, financing, and anything else you can think of, and Emily will do her best to answer.
We'll talk about how we got to $100k this year, and what it took in terms of strategy, resources, time and energy. We'll be honest about all the mountains we climbed and the valleys we sometimes rolled into, full-tilt and faces first.
If you're looking for a space to safely discuss money and get real, honest answers about what it looks like behind the scenes of one business hitting six-figures, then this class is for you!
