"Emily’s anti-capitalist approach aligned with my values, and it completely transformed how I see my business.

She helped me make sense of my ideas, set priorities, and get clear on my 'why,' all while honoring my needs as a whole person. Having her full focus pushed me to grow in ways I hadn’t expected, and I now approach my business with more confidence and grace. Even after finishing the program, I still check in as needed and am incredibly grateful for our ongoing relationship."

- Alyse S, owner of Better World Creative in Charlotte, Vermont

"I had been following Emily for years, and working with her one-on-one absolutely exceeded my sky-high expectations.

She is anti-capitalist, pro-human, and provided the perfect mix of non-judgment, support, and challenge—all tailored to me, my capacity, and my business. Each week, I had clear assignments building toward my goals, plus a wealth of resources I know I’ll return to again and again. We blew past my original goals and kept rolling into other work that needed to be done. If you work with Emily, prepare to have your mind blown—first by her practical suggestions, and second when they work even better than you imagined!

- Renee P, owner of Branch and Thorn in Windsor, Vermont

What You'll Learn

Ethical business consulting should do more than just increase profits. It should help you thrive without sacrificing your values.

In this program, you’ll:

  • Conduct meaningful market research using tools that don’t require expensive software or social media ads.

  • Develop your core offer—what you’re selling, how you price it, and who it’s for.

  • Learn ethical marketing strategies that don’t rely on urgency, scarcity, or manipulation.

  • Build your visibility through VT marketing techniques: email marketing, word-of-mouth, Front Porch Forum, and local SEO.

  • Sell with confidence, whether that’s online, through workshops, or tabling at the farmers’ market.

  • Create an anti-capitalist business budget that supports your actual life, not just hypothetical growth.

"Made 4 More is incredibly detailed and is the most in-depth course I have ever taken.

Not only does Emily have a rockstar brain for business, but she's really cool to spend time with, too. Between both the course and 1:1 time with Emily, I have so much more clarity on what I'm best at, what I want to do, and who I want to serve. I'm truly excited by what Emily has helped me to build for my business and am so grateful to have met her!'

- Rebecca D, owner of The Story Artisan in Williston, Vermont

"Emily is an incredible coach! I really value her knowledge, her curriculum, and most of all her ethics and principles.

Her values of anti-capitalism and socialism were the reasons that drew me to her business and I couldn't have been more satisfied with her ability to discern what was best for my business while being warm, direct, and anti-oppressive in her approach!"

- Anna Lemler, owner of Unfurl and Rewild

Made for Vermonters

I’ve worked with business owners in every corner of Vermont:

  • Artists and healers in Burlington, VT

  • Farmers and herbalists in the Northeast Kingdom

  • Retail shops and tradespeople in Southern Vermont

  • Co-ops and educators in Chittenden County

Many of my clients are juggling parenting, part-time jobs, and community care. Most have never been taught how to market or sell ethically—and many have tried traditional business support programs only to find they felt extractive or misaligned.

This program is different.

It centers people like you—who are doing values-driven work and want real, practical support to sustain it.

"Emily never tries to force a one-size-fits-all marketing approach.

Instead, she helps me show up more fully as myself in how I market my services—a huge relief for someone who cringes at empty self-promotion and avoided marketing altogether for way too long because it just didn’t feel like “me.” That avoidance slowed my business growth, but working with Emily has helped me move past it in a way that feels grounded and aligned. She is incredibly kind, experienced, resourceful, creative, and genuinely supportive."

- Caitlin Meredith, owner of In Future Focus

"Working with Emily has been so empowering, both personally and professionally.

One of my favorite experiences working with her was working on counter-narratives to unlearn a lot of toxic BS (my personal favorite being "I can do the most amount of good while making a livable wage"). I'd highly recommend her to anyone in any stage of business."

- Kris McKegney, owner of Patrick Bookkeeping in Burlington, Vermont

About Me ✊🏻

I’m Emily Eley. I’m an anti-capitalist business coach, curriculum designer, and facilitator who has worked with hundreds of small business owners, many of whom have never felt at home in traditional business spaces.

I specialize in ethical business consulting with an anti-capitalist lens. I’ve run free and low-cost workshops across Chittenden County, Burlington, the NEK, and Southern Vermont about marketing, sales, offer development and financial literacy. I believe in community care, mutual aid, and building a solidarity economy.

When I’m not coaching, I’m probably tending my garden, chasing my kids, or organizing around economic justice and the free Palestine movement.

I built this program because I believe Vermonters deserve business education that reflects their values.

You were made for more.

Let’s build a business that honors that.
